Spring is Here!!!!! Part 2: Spring Fashion

I'm back!!! I'm not sure if it's the spring weather or that I've been super on top of my coursework, but here is part 2 of our spring collection, as promised.

As I said in part 1, this post will focus on some spring fashion and wardrobe staples as well as a list of the things I plan on getting this season for some fun spring additions to my closet. Though any links I share will probably be for Amazon, I highly recommend looking for similar items at your local thrift shops. I have found some of my favorite pieces at thrift shops when I have an image of what I want in mind, and they didn't cost me a million dollars.

To kick it off, when looking for spring clothing and style, what should we go for? Winter is all about warm colors and cozy oversized fits; when moving into spring, we put those things aside and look for softer tones and floral designs as well as crisp but layered silhouettes. We focus on flowy skirts, looser jeans, and t-shirts that layer well. In this season, we often go from freezing in the morning to super warm in the evening, so outfits that have an easy transition are perfect and make for less laundry at the end of the day. Another way to stay warm is to have one warm and one cool. For example, a long-sleeved shirt with a flowy skirt or long jeans with a lighter top.

There really isn't much to say about spring clothing after that. It's all about the colors and loose floral feel of coming into spring. This is the time when girly girl fashion really shines bright. As I said, I really don't have much to say past that. Here is some inspiration to get you started...

Hope this gave y'all some inspiration for your spring fashion reset! As always thanks for reading and please let me know if you like the content or have any ideas for new posts!
