Wonderful Songs to Sing Part 1

After sorting through my music, I realized that I have far too many clean fun recommendations to make this a one and done thing. So, I plan on sending out one list now and some later on down the road as I sort things.  I've put the song titles and artists in bold for quick location if desired.

The Girls

Female artists often make our most relatable songs. As females, we can relate to the emotions they share. It's also just fun to see the power in a fellow woman's voice.

1. While she has many good songs, Hello and When We Were Young by Adele are two magnificent shows of a powerful female voice that has won so many awards over the years, and rightly so.

2.  Girl on Fire by AK or Alisha Key.  This is a powerful girl song that just feels good.

3. Ariana Grande has an amazing, gorgeous voice, but it is hard to find songs by her that are morally okay. Her song Piano was the only one I could find that was completely clean but if you haven't listened to her before you are in for a treat.

4. Somebody's Maybe by Amanda Jordan. This song is just plain out good. We deserve to be a person's first choice to love, and this song really emphasizes that.

5. Carrie Underwood has sooooooo many good clean songs. My favorites are All-American Girl, Don't Forget to Remember Me, Jesus Take the Wheel, Just a Dream, Little Toy Gun, See You Again, Temporary Home, and Wasted. Like I said just overall good messages.

6.  Beautiful and The Voice Within by Christina Aguilera are also really good. Christina has a very strong voice that makes for a tornado of sound.

7. Try by Colbie Caillat has a really great message, especially if you are a perfectionist like me. Only warning though is they do use the word sexy in this song so if you are uncomfortable with that maybe not for you. This one is something I'd recommend a parent test drive for just in case. Also Bubbly be her.

8. Another of my country girls, Wide Open Spaces by the Dixie Chicks. This song is one all of us girls sing along to in my house an we have all had this feeling.

9. If He Wanted to He Would is a song for anyone who has made excuses for a guy in their past. It also is just super catchy. Kylie Morgan crafts a beautiful story in this song and in the accompanying music video.

10. Concrete Angel by Martina McBride is quite sad as it is about a child who dies from abuse but overall a good song and a reminder of how important it is to speak up when you see something happening. Valentine is another good song by McBride.

11. Ever wonder how important your childhood is? Just listen to Miranda Lambert's The House That Built Me, an emotional song that reminds us that our childhood is something special.

12. I'm sure you've heard it but Fight Song, sung by Rachel Platten, is so invigorating and makes for a good workout tune.

13. Finally for the girls, Scars to Your Beautiful by Alessia Cara. This song is for all of us who have scars and just want to feel beautiful.

As I said before there are so many good songs out there, so look for more posts in the future but I wanted to start you out with some strong female options. As always feel free to comment and thank you so much for reading!

  1. Those songs sound so cool! Some of my personal favorites are Fictional, The Other POV, Whatever Happens FIrst, Permanently Bruised, and Like You Do by Khloe Rose. Her voice is so beautiful. And all of her songs but Starting over are completely clean!
